Welcome to Dorchester Chess Club
Dorchester Chess Club meets every Thursday from September to May at 7.15pm for 7.30pm in the Colliton Club, Dorchester, DT1 1XJ. Venue website http://www.collitonclub.co.uk/
All chess club members need to be Colliton Club members so the chess club get free use of the room.
Coronavirus - Groups of more than SIX are NOT allowed so new season SUSPENDED.
Last season started with the AGM at 7.15pm on Thursday 5 September 2019.
Players of all standards are welcome. We currently hold a club championship that runs throughout the season, a handicap knockout tournament and a quick play tournament that are open to all club members.
In addition we run four teams in the Dorset League, enter one team in the Dorset Handicap Tournament and host a Jamboree tournament each September with up to 6 other clubs competing.

Chess Knight - Dorchester Library and Learning Centre hosted casual chess for players of any standard. Fortnightly 5.15pm to 6.45pm Tuesdays pre lockdown. Please check library website for dates.
